Overview

This 7 Days Northern Safari is a comprehensive wildlife experience covering Tanzania’s top destinations: Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, Serengeti National Park, and the Ngorongoro Crater. The safari offers extended game drives, diverse landscapes, and exceptional opportunities to see the Big Five and other iconic African wildlife.

ACTIVITIES

Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Meals: Lunch & Dinner
Accommodation: Safari Lodge / Tented Camp
After breakfast in Arusha, depart for Tarangire National Park, well known for its large elephant population and ancient baobab trees. Enjoy a full game drive with chances to spot lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and numerous bird species.
Lunch will be served inside the park, followed by more wildlife viewing in the afternoon. Later, transfer to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Tarangire – Lake Manyara National Park

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Accommodation: Lodge / Tented Camp (Lake Manyara Area)

After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions and scenic groundwater forest. Enjoy a game drive through diverse habitats including forests, open plains, and the lakeshore.

You may spot elephants, hippos, flamingos, giraffes, and baboons. In the afternoon, drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Lake Manyara – Serengeti National Park

Accommodation: Tented Camp / Safari Lodge (Serengeti)
After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park, passing through the Ngorongoro Highlands. Enjoy scenic views and Maasai villages along the way.
Arrive in Serengeti for an afternoon game drive across the endless plains, home to lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, and large herbivore herds. Dinner and overnight at your camp.

Day 4: Full Day Serengeti National Park

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner (B/L/D)
Accommodation: Tented Camp / Safari Lodge

Spend the entire day exploring Serengeti with morning and afternoon game drives. Depending on the season, you may witness the Great Wildebeest Migration.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush, followed by continued wildlife viewing before returning to camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in Serengeti before driving to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Lunch will be served en route.

Arrive at the Ngorongoro rim in the afternoon and enjoy breathtaking views of the crater. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater Tour

After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full game drive. The crater hosts a high density of wildlife including the Big Five, black rhinos, lions, elephants, and buffaloes.

Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater before ascending and returning to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Ngorongoro – Arusha
